Purpose
The purpose of this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is to detail the origin and use of the personal data collected and processed by the company Tissium SA which manages the website available at the URL address https://www.tissium.com/, as well as the measures it implements in order to best protect said personal data.
Identity of the data controller
The company Tissium SA, a public limited company with a board of directors with capital of 240 522,40 euros, whose head office is located at 74, rue du faubourg Saint-Antoine – 75012 Paris, France, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Paris under number 793°166°299, represented by Mr. Christophe Bancel, in his capacity as Chief Executive Officer (“Tissium”), publishes this website available at the URL address https://www.tissium.com/ (the “Website”). Within the frame of providing its services, Tissium will collect and process certain personal data of any visitor, including client browsing, consulting and contacting Tissium through, this Website (the “Users”).
Therefore, Tissium acts as data controller.
Tissium respects the right to privacy and recognizes the importance of protecting personal data.
In this respect, Tissium (and consequently, its employees, agents, partners and subcontractors) undertakes to process the personal data of Users in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “GDPR”) and the Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on Information Technologies, Data Files and Individual Liberties(“Law No. 78-17”) as well as the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Category of personal data and data retention period
Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a
name, an identification number, location data, or, even, an online identifier.
Personal data that Tissium collects and processes is:
- Professional identification data (e.g. last name, first name, position, company, etc.) and contact data (e.g. email address and business phone number, etc.) kept for the entire duration of the provision of the service, plus the legal statute of limitations, which is generally 5 years.
- When there is a confusion between the name of your structure and your personal name (ex: auto-entrepreneur, TPE, etc.), economic and financial data (ex: bank account number, verification code, etc.) kept for the time necessary for the transaction and the management of invoicing and payments, to which are added the legal statute of limitations, which are generally from 5 to 10 years.
- Contact data (e.g. e-mail address and/or telephone number) used to process your information request made by e-mail/telephone, kept for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact we had with you.
- Statistical data relating to the viewing of our videos which is anonymized and stored indefinitely.
- Connection data (e.g. logs, IP address, etc.) kept for a period of 1 year.

Once the retention periods described above have expired, the deletion of User’s personal data is irreversible, and we will no longer be able to provide it to you after this period. At most, we may only retain anonymous data for statistical purposes.
Please also note that in the event of litigation, we are required to retain all of your data for the duration of the processing of the case even after the expiration of the retention periods described above.

- respond to a contact request sent to Tissium using the contact form available on this Website (the legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interests of Tissium);

However, when Users voluntarily post content on the pages Tissium publishes on social networks, Users acknowledge that they are fully responsible for any personal data they may transmit, regardless of the nature and origin of the information provided.
Data recipients
The data collected is strictly confidential and intended for the use of Tissium and its affiliates. However, certain personal data of Users may be transmitted, temporarily and in a secure way, to third parties when necessary to provide our services consistent with the processing purposes.

User Rights
Users have the following rights:

Requests cannot be made by anyone other than the User. Therefore, we may ask to provide proof of identity if there is any doubt about your identity.
Tissium has one (1) month from receipt of the User’s request to respond, unless the request is complex or repeated in which case it may take up to three (3) months.
Please note that Tissium may always refuse to respond to any excessive or baseless request, especially if it is repetitive
The User is also entitled to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3, place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 7 (https://www.cnil.fr) in the event of difficulty.
Protection of personal data
Tissium implements all technical and organizational measures required to guarantee the security of personal data, in particular, to prevent any risk of destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure of your data (e.g., training, access control, passwords, antivirus, backup servers, “https”, etc.).
Storage and transfer of personal data outside the EU
Tissium strives to only store personal data in member states of the European Union, subject to the GDPR and in any case only within “adequate” countries within the meaning of the GDPR.
